Sarah Banham has been writing for over 40 years. Today, she is a writing coach, and the author of novels and non-fiction books both independently and traditionally published. She established For The Love of Books (www.loveofbooks.co.uk) in 2011 offering creative writing services including editing, proofreading, ghost writing, and workshops.
In her career, Sarah has held two main residencies with Essex Libraries (2017) and Costa Coffee (Clacton Shopping Village) 2025. She's been a leader and facilitator of writing and writers’ groups, a radio presenter with the weekly show Writers’ Block which was broadcast over 4 stations for 9 years', and has produced The Versatile Writer podcast since 2020. The podcast aims to encourage and support writers and creatives.
Sarah has a degree in English Literature and Creative Writing. Among her many books of fiction and non-fiction, the latest is 201 Cost Friendly Activities for All Ages and Abilities which was published in June 2025 and is available from Amazon. Before that was A Guide To Creative Writing, published by Pen and Sword Books published in June 2024.
Sarah leads Writers of Essex, a quarterly writers’ group in Essex, UK which is supported by Society of Authors.
She is a member of Society of Authors, Alliance of Independent Authors, and Romantic Novelist's Association.
